looking for resonator

I need some help finding a resonator for my 06. My buddy put one on his 07 and it took alot of the crack out of the straight exhaust when you get on the throttle . I would like to get one off a mega cab without having to buy it thru DC. Maybe someone has one they will sell or can guide me to a place that sells similar ones to the mega cab's. Thanks.

Thanks Mark. I'll take it along as the shipping isn't to outrageous. Maybe you can PM me or I'll see if I can PM you.

When ever you get it done report back. I dont want my truck any quieter but it does get a little raspy when the rpms get high.

A sound clip would be nice too.

I'll definitly report back. I tried to get rid of some of the raspiness by putting on a sliverline muffler, but it made the truck way to quiet for my liking. It also give the exhaust a funny buzzing tone. After a week I decided to put my straight back on. But this time I found a heavy gauge piece of 4 inch pipe(twice as thick as the stock exhaust piping or the pipe I got at napa) instead of using flex pipe like I had on before. By just replacing the flex with heavy pipe it made the straight pipe sound alot less tinny and more deep and clear. It was like a different truck. But it still cracks alittle when you get on it.

Farmer, I have mine as well, but its not off a Mega. Are you close to Route 80? Maybe we can arrange a pick up if you are not too far from me. I am located about 40 miles east of the PA line on route 80.

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to step in front of Mark, just offering another possibility in case shipping is too much. Good luck!
