I tow a 10,000 lb. fifth wheel and looking for a little extra power accelerating and on hills. I haven't done any mods to my truck and want to keep it mainly stock. What I would like is a box that will give me a little more when towing and hopefully some MPG when not towing.

Over the 2 years I've browsed this forum, people seem to be happy with the Quad products and customer service. Is this still true? I am thinking about a Quad Xzillaraider XZT and Commander. Does anyone have any opinions on these products?

I'm open for other suggestions on products that would meet my needs. I'm looking for safe power to a stock truck. Thanks for any advice.

 

Smarty JR and a good set of gauges.

 

X2 on the Smarty Jr. it was designed for stock trucks. mileage increase while empty and lower than stock EGTs have also been noticed on my truck.
Also like the Isspro gauges I've had no problems from mine and they match factory pretty darn well. So I guess basically what rip 112 said
I had a few problems out of my old monitor as did a friend so I went with some analog.

I don't do a lot of towing, and when I do it's not much over 5,000 pounds, but I've got the Juice w/ Attitude and have had good results so far with it. It's got more gauges built in than you'd probably ever want to use and quite a few good safety features as well. I know there are a lot of fans of the Smarty on here (and probably for good reason), but just throwing out another option.

There wouldn't be any problems using a Smarty JR and Quad Commander together?

 

That would be a good combo too. I'm just partial to analog gauges though.
