Looking To Change Programmers

Okay well I sold my Edge Ez and im kinda wanting to get a Smarty I think. I have the 4.1 Crazy Larry and its just not doing it for me. I loved the low end on the smarty. The Bully Dog works great but im after more on the low end for playing around town. As soon as i took the Edge Ez off my fuel mileage dropped back to 17 again with just the Crazy Larry. With the edge stacked it was averaging about 18.5. So I need to find someone to buy my Triple Dog. What should I expect for mileage with the smart on my 07 Crew Cab with 33.12.50 18 Nitto Mud Grapplers. As soon as i wear these Mud Grapplers out im gonna put some Nitto Terra Grapplers on it so hopefully I can get my mileage back up.

From what I have heard and just my opinion when i had a friend of mines smarty on my truck it was getting better fuel mileage then my bullydog and the low end was awesome. But thanks for your input. I have a feeling i'll be pretty happy with the Smarty myself.

Its better economy than stock, but not what we all want. Some other programmers may offer better mpgs. But the smarty is unique, functional, and pretty stackable. It definitely has my vote hands down.

The one thing I like about the Smarty is the timing on it. It gives you great throttle response. My vote is hands down the Smarty.

Diablo has all the low end you will ever need, bullydog 2.4.1 has no pressure added in that tune and thats why the smarty, and others have no low end the pressure feature will be added next week hopefully you may hold out til then and then if not what your looking for make the trade to smarty. Just my .02.

Well i think i can hold off a week. I talked to buddy and he said he was working on another version. I talked to him about adding pressure and he said he was working on it. Yeah the smarty does stack very well. I was pretty impressed with the Triple Dog and the Edge Ez. But I will try and hold out for the version in a week hopefully. I had the 4.1 for a few days with no crazy larry just extreme and the extreme seemed like it had alot more low end throttle response then the 4.1 with crazy larry. So i'll just wait for the latest version before I make the change. Is there alot of rattle using the smarty??

Okay thank you. I should have bought a smarty in the first place. What is the most you have gotten with the Smarty driving conservitively. When I drive to school its about a hour of 75-80 in southern cal when it cool in the mornings since I leave at 4:30 so it should be pretty decent i would think.

I always... Had mine on #9 and in a trip to larame wyoming with an average speed of 86 mph to 103 I got a hand calculated 19.6 round trip!!!! If you put it on #3 - #5 and drive conservatively you should get good results...

Holy Cow!! I wish mine got that good! I average 14, but of course thats with mostly in-town and 30 miles of interstate a day. Most of my fuel goes out the pipe as smoke. Shoulda calc'd mine going to Utah yesterday...

mine gets about 18-20mpg on the highway running about 65-70mph. if I ran faster than that my mileage goes down. thats on sw9 with the beta 4.4 tune

Yeah on my last trip from southeast kansas up I70 to laramie i averaged 19.3 hand caculated with just the triple dog on extreme but that was only with 5000 miles. The triple dog seems to get the best on crazy larry if you can keep your foot out of it.
