Long Crank sometimes no start with Smarty
Recently my truck developed a long crank and now today twice it did not start. You turn the key back to off and try again and fires up good. Its really annoying when someone it with you and you crank it for about 3-5sec to make it start. I only noticed this with the TNT, Currently its set at SW7 TM3 TIM3 RP3. Even with TNT SW1 RP2 it does it. Is it the smarty or my truck?
Also my turbo barks when shifting into OD with the new tranny under moderate throttle, what gives?

if I recall there is a bulletin on extended crank. I was visiting a buddy of mine who is a dodge tech and we were looking up stuff for my truck. you might want to check it out. I don't think it is smarty related.

Still does it with it the stock programming?
Why are you running timing 3 with the TNT? I don't see aftermarket injectors in your sig. Run timing 1 or 2 with the stock injectors.

hard starting issues can come from a blown pressure relief valve. With the mods you have though.... I don't imagine you've seen very high rail pressure.
As for turbo bark... you're building boost and not using it. You may just need to relearn your driving habits and not let off the peddle so quick. That or you can get an adjustable boost elbow and adjust accordingly.

Does it do it when your fuel levels are low? My truck with the GDP and low fuel (less than 1/4 tank) is a pig to start. I turn the key on. Wait for the truck to build 5-8 PSI of FP. Then turn the motor 1 crank and wait for FP to jump to 18-22 and she'll start right up. But if I try to jump in and just start it up she'll crank for 10-15 seconds before starting...

The fuel Pressures are good,My timing is on #2 I wrote it wrong in the first post. It will load the stock and then REVO to see what happens.
I got the turbo bark figured out, I just turned my wastegate on and its all good now.
