On the wire and plug - I would reccomend a sealant called the "Right Stuff". (If you ever have a problem with leaking) Get it at Napa. It is a silicone type sealant especially for oils. I was having a problem with oil leakage around the plug that we put in the diff. cover. We had used a red type silicone but it kept leaking. Used the Right Stuff and never had a problem since.
How close did your grinding come to going completely through the housing? IF you didnt come through I would say it is paper thin. Be careful if you are ever around rocks or stumps. Mine came through and we built it back up on the outside. 12,000 miles, 20+ sled pulls and some hefty offroading and no problems yet

Acording to ARB they will have the 11.5'' on the market by spring. It's already on there web site. I've been waiting two years. No body else is planning to build anything for 11.5'' AAM.

I needed lockers the other day, I was down at my lease and the drivers side of my truck slid into a rut....and I buried the goat to the axles. One side was on dry ground and one in the mud up to the rockers......I guess a locker would have saved the day ??? Instead I had to listen to my buddie all day about his 2wd ford ranger saving the day !!!!
