Depends on the width of the tires and the backspacing of the wheels.
I have 37s with absolutely no lift on my truck.
XLR8R has 37s with just a 2" front leveling kit.
Others have 6" of lift and still rub with 37s.
It all DEPENDS.

Daddy laid it all out nicely. Now let me ask you this: What do you want to do with your truck and those 37s? Play in the mud? Look cool on the street? Race across the desert?
37s can be made to fit with no lift up to the tallest of lifts; but how you ultimately wish to use your truck should dictate what direction you take when choosing a lift.
