Leveling Kits

I am looking to add a leveling kit for my 05 4x4 3500 quad cab, what is the kit of choice? Also do you need to change the front shocks? Any info would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks RN

2 iches is the max to stay on stock shocks, all steal construction is better than plastic with a bolt plate embeded. As for brand??? I can't remember what mine is but there are a lot out there.

www.revtek.com I have used them for years on several different trucks and love the quality for what little money they are.

I put the Hell Bent Steel leveling kit on my truck with the stock shocks and have had no problems at all. The truck looks great with them and at some point I will put the bilstien shocks on her.

I ran a Tuff Country 2" leveling kit on mine. I also switched out all the shocks. The stock ones looked worn out at 60k miles.

It was a easy install and it looked good afterwards. It even accomidated my 35's with minimal rubbing at a full lock.

Nate,
You said it barely rubbed? Is this with the lift kit or before you lifted it, I want to put 35's on but am concerned about rubbing. I will most likely just put 285's on with the leveling kit.
