I would not bother, when you got the weight on the back, it will make it look like its that much more of a load on the **** of the truck, and you'll look skyward a little more while driving loaded

but if you do, i wouldn't use pucks, with all the death wobble stories. I could be wrong, not real up to date on lifts etc

Check ebay they have the steel ones I had a pair on my truck easy to install and there are no problems after as to death wobble it does not throw off frontend enough.

P.S: I no longer have them as I lifted to 6"

careful with some of the spacers for awhile they weren't using stainless studs and they were rusting and breaking off. I know daystar recently switched to stainless because of that problem.

i still dont get it,,alot of people run level kits, but nobody changes track bars hardly.how can it be right when the front end of your truck is pulled over nearly an inch?your control arms would be side loaded pretty good and your springs would be bowed to one side somewhat wouldnt they?i use to fool with older fords a good bit,and they had the same set-up,ive had to add adjustable track arms and drop brackets to the arms on all of them..on the small cherokees ive done, there was enough material on the track arm bracket to drill another hole in closer to align them.in my mind(which is sometimes a pretty scary place)nearly an inch is as much as a mile when it comes to alignment issues....any input on this fellas?....................bama

Lifting the front 2 or 2-1/2" is only going to move the axle about 1/4" sideways

There's always track bar relocation brackets if you are really concerned about it.

I had 'em

Almost died

Got rid of 'em

No problems now.

Spend the extra money if you really want to lift the front.

I used the kit from Rancho, spacers and lower controls arms. Roughly 50,000 miles on them so far with not one problem. Perfect fit for the 295 Nitto's. I guess all trucks are different though.............

Tough County steel spacers - No problems what so ever, had they install at a body shop, they checked my front end. I've had them over 2,000 miles.

I had a leveling kit (steel spacers) on my 98' 1 ton 4X4 and now on my 05' 3/4 4X4, never had a wobble or shake of any sort. I was really concerned about it on the 05 since had bigger tires put on it. But so far so good, have about 5000 miles on the kit. I got an extra Leveling kit if any one is interested. send me an P.M.
