Leveling kit install question
When installing front leveling kit, springs or spacers,is it necessary to loosen the control arm bolts to allow the rubber bushings to recenter themselves?I don't know what made me think about it,I think most people just remove the shock, disconnect the swaybar and drop the housing enough to get the spring or the spacer in. Is this a no-brainer or what?

Do not mess with the control arm bolts!
It is a no-brainer....if you need more room to get the spacer in, you might have to remove the track bar to allow the front axle to drop more

I had to remove my bottom track bar bolt to get mine in. It's just one bolt and it makes it so much easier.

Thanks,I guess the rubber is flexible enough. Way back when - I renewed all the control arm bushings on a Chevelle front end and I tightened them up on the lift with wheels hanging--they lasted about two minutes into the test drive and I wound up buying new bushings and eating the job...
