"Larry" files vs Smarty

Here you go...

First is Bully Dog Senator Larry and Crazy Larry vs Smarty TNT/R

Next is Crazy Larry vs Smarty both with MP-8 on 75%

CF is on SAE due to the fact that the air was worse on Friday night than when I ran the Smarty. So its a apples to apples comparison with the elements out of the equation.

Looks like pretty good numbers. If you run them all on the highway, what is the seat of the pants difference in your opinion???

Seat of the pants....hhhmmm

Let me break it down as best I can...

Senator Larry= Not a street tune AT ALL. I drove around with a scanner on while running this tune due to the touchy throttle. So I wanted to monitor throttle % when full fueling came on.

SL was full fuel by 25% throttle, so while driving around it felt incrediable up until 30% when there was nothing more. So you feel like its a top notch tune until you floor it and go what the hell....where is the rest of the power. SL made the least power of them all!!!

Crazy Larry was a drivable tune with full fuel by 50% so still the lackluster power after 50% but was very strong until then.

Neither of the LARRY tunes are as refined with throttle response and power application as the Smarty is.

But thats my opinion...so take it for what its worth.

nice numbers, its crazy to see the differences between the tunes between 2100rpms-2750rpm. It makes me wonder how pressure larry would stack up against Tnt-R. Thanks for the comparo....

Nice numbers man! Goes to show, each truck with its specific mods, and the dyno, will post different numbers. Most say BD posts higher numbers on the 06/07s...the truth is in the pudding though-the track. You going to do a test there?

Did you get your code issue figured out? I havent made it to CompD and checked out your thread there

Also what happened on the Senator Larry run? Unless Im retarded, looks like it just stopped recording before 2500?

No I am done with Bully Dog in my truck. Once i get this code figured out, a Bully Dog product will never be on my truck again. so no sorry no track testing..

Not yet, ive got a email to tech support to see if they can re-write cal tables for my ABS system. If not hen I've got to see if the dealer will help with a starscan flash.

No your not retarded, for some reason the graph didnt print fully but on the computer it shows the two larry files having the same curves but with SL peaking less than the CL did.
Filled in the info for you.

I tried to load Ped Larry, but the Triple Dog I was using would not take the PL tune I was trying to use.

I used a PL tune from 3 different sources, and it wouldnt take on any of them.

Yep, no speedo, no ABS and dash lit up like Christmas!!

I've got a email to tech support.

I was told that the dealer might be able to reflash with the starscan.

So waiting for BD to get back to me.... Not very happy right now!

Not sure yet, didn't get a chance to test Smarty with the scanner. Once I get this issue fixed, I'll test the Smarty.
