My smarty done the same thing s-06, engine lights, abs, no speed-o would work. I had to take my 07 back to the dealer to re-flash my computer

 

My dash lights up like a christmas tree when i upload smarty but then it all clears once the download is done. Its wierd bob thinks its due to a faulty tipm sensor.

Got it fixed yesterday. Went to the dealer where a friend works at, and we spent 3 hours trying different things to make the ABS module remember what it was.

When we started all the ABS module knew was that it was a ABS module...nothing else.

So we had to force it to remeber what it was by loading and unloading "Old" ABS code form a long time ago. Once it took we updated to the newest SW and it worked.

but 3 hours on a StarScan fixed it!!! Thank God!!!

What now, if you do not mind me asking are you going to use the smarty agian. Or do you think it is a bad sensor. I had the same prolbem re-flashed my computer and I want to use a smarty agian, but I want to be comfortable that it will not mess up my computer agian. Any advice please.

 

i just had this happen to my truck (not truck in sig its an 07 5.9), abs light is on, no speedo, and engine light is on, but triple dog shows no codes.. Now when i take it to a dealer to have it reflashed or whatever to fix it, should i have the 2.4d crazy larry tune uninstalled ? or leave it set back to stock and have the dealer reflash the tipm of whatever? wont the crazy larry tune just mess it up again if i try to reinstall the tune ?

 

It is the abs section that is messed up right now. Mine did that and when bully dog fixed that they killed my 4x4. It took 6 hrs at the dealer and several reflashes to fix it.

 

It doesnt matter what you do you cant fix it, the dealer has to go into the ABS system and put new calibratikon codes in and hope it works. It took us hours to get it right, but with perservierence it payed off.

But nothing you can do with the BD, the system is erased and the BD cant put it back.
