On saturday I was coming back from work and at the last set of lights before leaving town a Powerstroke pulled up beside me, he was being mouthy so what could I do? With the smarty on#7 i was confident i could waste him so....full boosted launch and off we went,I pulled out in front but he was not that far behide me and I looked down and we were at 100MPH so I waited another second for it to defuel and tried moving the key to the start position and nothing happened just the radio turned-off,gauges never moves nothing. Slowely he passed me

What is this key trick that you speak of???

 

When you hit the MPH limit your suppose to turn your key to the START position and hold it there, disabling you MPH limit.
You could just update you Smarty for same results.

 

any one in a stick truck tried this in any other gear besides 6th, just a thought, i cant imagine reachin for the ign. switch at 115+

 

It doesnt work on 06

Besides you have to turn and hold the key before the speed limiter or there will 3-5 second delay.

Most PSD's I race stop pulling around 115mph
