Its another hp thread

hey guys just bought a 04 automatic 4x4.. just bought smarty and pyro tranny, boost...also am getting twins stock over s400.. Also upgrading my tranny: Billet flexplat, billet input, triple disc TC, valve body all from gorend....What u think this tranny upgrade will hold also how muh power do you guys think i will be at? any other ideas? verry new to 3rd gen world? have a first gen and am converting over?

What are you planning on the middle as well as the output shaft, they break also. HP will depend on your mods as well as what level your going to run your Smarty on. What Smarty do you have? If you want cheap HP upgrades for your 04. Might want to upgrade to an HE351 turbo instead of the 341. Good cheap upgrade. Fuel system mods are going to be a thing in the future to think about also. If you have a 04.5, you have the 351 from the factory. If your turbo has an ECM controlled waste gate on it, its an 351.

I would leave the intermediate alone and get a billet ouput shaft if you plan on boost launchs. Hp will be right around 500hp. It will depend on the fuel, got plenty of air. Tranny will hold a good bit. You should be fine with what you are doing.

ok kool so i will get billet output shaft...its my daily driver but want a good it of power to have some fun with..Was thinking about getting airdog fuel pump?Got smarty pod wanted to run it on level 7 or higher.. thanx for any input guys
