Question HELP! ISSPRO Turbo Temp Monitor (Timer) Install!

anyone with the ISSPRO Turbo Temp Monitor remember what wire they tapped into for the Ignition Switch? i tried a few but none will keep the truck running.

thanks.

for those that dont know this is sort of like a turbo timer but instead of running for a amount of time it monitors temp.

I used an "Add a Fuse" into the fuse box. There was an unused spot without a fuse that was hot with the key on. made a notch out of the side of the fuse box cover and sealed it with a rubber gromet.

I do'nt know how the 06 compaires with the 05. This is what I did with mine a month ago. The wire for the cigar lighter (the one closest one to the driver that cycles with the key switch)is a pink with a yellow stripe. By chance I found it on my 06. Look at above where your left foot rests. The bundle of wires closest to the floor, must be 15 or more that plug into that rectangle plug (my plug is white and the one higher is black). Inside that I bundle found it and tested it. Stuck a needle in the wire and tested with the key. I used a volt meter and with the key off was 11v / on was 12v. The new gauges work great .

i tested the yellow wire coming out of the steering column but it only has power for a few secounds when you start the truck.

i also tested the big blue wire in there, it stays 12v when the truck is running but when i hook up the TTM to it it only leave the heater blower motor running not the engine.

i have my gauges wire to the yellow with a pink stripe because that wire stays "hot" while the truck is running so i will try that one next.

thanks.

there is a small solid red wire under the column on my '03 that I tapped into.
I don't know if it is the same for an '06 though.

I don't think it is the big one, probe the others with a test light to see if it is hot all the time.

the TTM switched side hooked to a solid blue wire. There are 3 blue wires, a small lt blue, a small (slightly bigger than the lt blue one)blue, and a large blue wire. it was the middle one on mine.

Got this all done today, figured I would post my solution here.

On my 04.5 it turned out I needed the pink/lime wire in the harness. The way I figured it was a trick that Mark at Diesel Manor told me. Run a fused power wire and start hitting the wires in your ignition switch harness. Eventually one will cause the Wait to Start light to come on and you will hear the fuel pump kick in. This is the wire the Isspro wants. Don't know about other versions of timers other than Isspro but this will work on any year truck.

For those who have this, do any of yall have the sentry key system?
Will it work if you remove the key and walk away? I am not that familiar with how the security works. Thanks
