Introducing BDs New FLOMAX Lift Pump

BD’s new Flow-MaX lift pump has been designed to deliver ample fuel flow for more than 600 horsepower, yet is more compact, quieter and more durable than competitive products. Featuring a hard anodized aluminum body and proven gerotor design, the Flow-MaX flows 150 gallons per hour (GPH) at 10 psi pounds per square inch, and up to 165 GPH at full flow. It’s the ideal replacement for the OEM pump, which can fail even at the stock horsepower level and cause damage to the injection pump.

The Flow-MaX mounts to the frame using vibration isolators, and the kit includes all necessary hoses and mounting hardware. From stock horsepower to the track, the Flow-MaX is a great alternative to the OEM lift pump.
• 150 GPH at 10psi, 165 GPH full flow
• Proven gerotor design reduces number of moving parts for greater reliability
• Poppet pressure regulator is superior to ball and spring designs
• 10% smaller and 16dB quieter than competitive products
• Covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty
• MAP Price $445 USD

Sweet! Will it work with the Jeep Liberty Canister w/o modification, or do we need a 1/2" fuel pickup?

Is the warranty eventually gonna be bumped up to Lifetime by chance? IMO it would make it more attractive for buyers.

Is it a flow through pump? Meaning, if the pump isn't running will the cp3 pull fuel through it. If its a flow through I could use it on my Liberty CRD....

To be honest we have not tried it on this application. I dont know what the fuel requirements are on this engine. I would think the volume of fuel would most likely be too much for this applicaiton.

how quiet is it? My fass is the old style and it is real loud. I want a pump that is close to the oem pump. I am sick of telling people that my truck is suppose to sound like that.

On all of our trucks here you have to have your hand on it to tell it is running. They are very quiet. In our testing it was 16db quieter than a Fass system.

I think he's referring to the mod where they replace the stock cannister on the Dodge with one from a Jeep Liberty.

The Jeep Liberty Canister is the same as our stock canister, minus the lift pump.

It is designed to work in conjuction with your factory filter. Our pump has no filter attatched to it. We are using the factory filtration.
