interesting finds with tst

finally got around to trying the new adjustable tst box out. i am under the impression that the programs all fuel the same amount but just fuel at differentboost levels. tst early twins on level 3 is my sweet spot. 4 will drain the rail to about 12 k. however level 5 on the standard version is my sweet spot. 6 will drain the rail. if they both fuel the same amount how come i can go up 2 levels with with the standard compared to the early twins? is this because the early twins fuels so hard so quick that it drains the rail right off the bat and it never gets a chance to catch up?

In my opinion, yes thats correct.

early twins is gonna FULL fuel at 12psi, which is gonna suck down rail psi pretty bad. standard program fuels at 25psi....and its not nearly as violent with the fueling.

so in turn the standard will make more hp since you can run higher setting while keeping rail pressure. thats what im getting from this.

NOPE.

Early twins makes the same peak HP as about 2-3 clicks higher on the Regular program.

Early twins fuels harder sooner...but has more "unusable" levels ontop (7-9).
Regular and New Twins can be run up to 7 or so...they just fuel a little slower on the bottom. You got to play with all the programs to find the sweet spot with YOUR truck.

For me...6-4 Early Twins, 50% MP-8, and Auto 18 degree timing or Smarty 90 hp w/ Timing, 3-1 Early Twins, 50% MP-8, and Auto 6 degrees timing.

That is all the stock CP-3 and stock injects can handle...netting 550-575 hp on my truck. The truck has over 100 hp at lower RPMs with the Smarty in the mix...therefore much lower 1/4's even though similar top end hp.

you must have a cp3 on sterionds because 6/4 early twins is a rail draining machine. i couldnt run it with stock sticks ,flux 1's,flux'3s,floor it cp3,II cp3 with dual feed line, just flat out drained the rail.

Maybe that is how I got lucky...I do have pretty high numbers of an 03-04 with stock sticks and CP3. The best MP-8/TST stack netted 575...

Tune tune tune...then tune some more till you stuble across the best setup.

With a triple stack...there are thousands of combos! LOL
