Boy you 3rd gen guys with your better flowing heads! Those fancy intakes down do a thing for us 2nd gen guys, our heads flow so poorly that the air horn is one of the bigger parts of the intake tract. Like previously stated, I still think they are more of a "bling" wow factor than an egt reducer. But hey, they do come with ports, I'd have to spend 20 bucks for a drill bit and a tap to do that with my stock air horn!

 

I can't figure out why these are worth +/- $300.

I have the Banks intake but I dont like it. Im a machinist and from my point of view I see lots of restrictions.

my truck is running cooler now that i got my phat shaft 64/14 on so i dont think i'll waste my $ on a intake ram instead i''ll spend it on a clutch and cp3 mod.

 

Hey bob when will afe release this intake for the public you said around the 15th but i cant find it for sale anyware yet and it isnt in the press releases for afe any new info?
