Installed rail pressure gauge....No Workie..
I got the Quad rail pressure gauge in the mail today. I hooked it all up and have no indication of life to it.
I checked the positive connection and I am getting 12 volts and the ground is grounded well, BUT yet no display of any sort when key is on, off, run, etc.
Anybody else ??

Yeah I belive so. I thought maybe not, but I double checked and it is the black wire coming out of the harness with the large ring connector whereas the other wire was dark grey with a slightly smaller ring connector and it has it's own wire wrap....Correct ??

There was another post concernign a problem and quad answered, something about an insulator ring and it's location. Sorry I don't remember information but I'm sure if you do a search on the subject you can find the posts.

Check the fuse and or the fuse tap itself and make sure it is getting power to it.
Worse case scenario the 3 LED's above the buttons should be lit up when power and ground are connected.

Sounds like you could have a bad display. I know that doesn't make sense because Quad says they test everything before shipment, but sometimes things do slip through. He was on earlier tonight; have you PM'd him? That might be the best thing you could do at this point and give them a call tomorrow.....

I just thought of one more thing and it is the only other possible thing at this point.
If you 100% have power and ground and the 3 LED's still are not lit at the least then the only other thing it could be is a bad or broken solder joint where the harness goes into the board. If you want to check it then its ok with me. Just remove the 2 screws on the back and you will see the wires going into the board. The red is power the black is ground. If one of the solder connections are broken that is your problem. It should not happen but, it has.
So at minimum with power and ground you will always get the 3 leds, I don't care if you take the microcontroller off, those 3 will work as they are tied directly to power and ground.

By the way.....YES I AM KIDDING!
I just hate it when stuff does not plug in for someone and work like it is supposed to.
I can't sleep until it is fixed!!!
