Install took about 27 seconds. I can't believe this is the same truck. I don't know if my difference is more or less having the SO engine but what a difference. Rasberries to those dr. P bashers... This is not snake oil. Itching to get the boat behind it now. My idle had a persistant little stumble that is completely gone now. Transmission even seems to be shifting better (probably all in my head). It seems to down shift a little easier than it did?? I don't know how that could be possible, I'm probably just stepping on it more. It's so much quicker I'm afraid I'm going to break something... I'm sure mileage won't be too good until the new wears off but right now I'm wearing an ear to ear grin.

 

you are adding way more than just getting it to a ho configuration. and the dr.p saying it won't hurt your warrentee is nice also. and i will bet you big money that you have enough fuel to hurt the truck now. get some gauges, and pull it off if you need any warrentee work. most of dr.p's stufff works pretty well, it is there false advertising or misleading that has drivin every one away. they sell lot of stuff to the rodeo crowd, and they even sell new trucks down here with the dr. p upgrades and somehow get the warrentee work cover by chrysler. making our trucks run better is just good fun, but you need to be aware that more power takes more fuel. some can be gained with timing but the real power comes from fuel.

 

I love my Dr P. stuff. I have no complaints.

 

Did you get the fuel only box or the fuel/boost box because my dad has the fuel only and its pretty powerful Im just wanting to see what it will do with a fuel/boost box.

I assume mine's just a fuel box. It only has 1 plug. The stage III box has two plugs, I assume one for fuel, one for boost. I was afraid to do anything else with the 47re trans.. But it really wakes this truck up. I can see where the power is addicting.. I think I'll sell it next week and move up the the adjustable box! (kidding) Arlon
