injector removal

So i have narrowed down my engine issues to a bad injector. I have everything taken apart but im having a hard time pulling the injector out. Its #6 cylinder of course so its hard to get to. Any ideas on how to pull that s.o.b. out?

you have the connector tube removed completely? then once the 2 screws that hold the injector into the head are removed, just grab the injector body with a rag, and pull up. you can wiggle side to side as you pull. there is an oring that seals the body in, which you are fighting, and probably some carbon on the tip that is helping keep it in the head. dont forget about the copper sealing ring at the tip end.

i used a brake adjustment tool to get mine out but if you can barrow the injector tool it would make it alot easier. but if no tool just use a screw driver and bust a couple knuckles it will come out you do have the bolts and tube out for sure??

Most will come out by hand but if they dont I use a very small pry bar. I mean this thing looks like I bought it at Toys R Us, but the pry end fits perfect under each side. I gently pry each side a little, try to keep it even and they pop right out.
Im all for using the proper tools but sometimes you got to get work done. This has worked for me all 6 or so times I have pulled my sticks. Good luck.

That back one is a pain!Try laying a wrench flat on the left side of the head(lay it inline with the outer row of head bolts).Use a long screw driver as a pry bar.Put it under the bracket that holds the injector down and lay it across the wrench and push down. The wrench will act as a pivot point. This worked very nicely on the back 2 when I did mine 5 different times LOL!
Can't help on the tool.Good luck.

I used a wonder bar and mine popped right now, I would think any 90* prybar that will fit in there would work.
