I recently removed my Flux 2's due to the damage the new CP3 and MP-8 did to them and had the stock tips put back on. With that being done, the truck idles as smooth as stock, starts out, and shifts as smooth as stock, and does NOT white smoke at all, whereas with the damaged injectors it was like driving a 20 year old 7-ton dump truck. Now that I know to keep the MP-8 off, and will just be running the TST with adjustable timing (at 0), will my Flux 2 or 3's (haven't decided which tips I am going to do) bring back that same rough idle, white smoke, hard engaging of 1st or 2nd gear, and make shifting less smooth?
I love the power they give, I just can't get over how smooth my truck runs now!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I figure that the MP-8 along with TOO much timing from the old TST was the culprit, but just want some opinions from people who know far more than I on the subject!

I don't think it was the timing that killed them. It was probably the increased pressure that the MP8 causes that did them in. With a good set of injectors I would expect your truck to actually smooth out instead of run worse.

You need to spray them in different places.
