So is this from over tighting the connector tube or what? Because I followed the DDP website injectors install PDF, but as you can tell I screwed something up. Also there is a nice sounding knock coming from the engine.
Well after a week I figure it out had the number 5 injector wires on backwards. Runs like a champ now even though I swaer it has a little more injector knock than usual even though the local performance diesel guy said it sounds fine, but I did throw a code the other day, p0148 High pressure CR, but it had know power loss or running different at all, I cleared it and 400 miles later it still hasnt throwin the code

When taking off the air horn/heater grid to get to the inj. tubes, are the gaskets ok to re-use?? Or do I have to remove the air horn/grid??

I'm prepping to get ready to install new inj.and this is according to DDP inst., if I'm reading it correctly.

The air horn and grid heater both have to be removed completely. Given how inexpensive the gaskets are (~$10 at Cummins, IIRC), I would get new ones. No need to risk a boost leak for $20 worth of gaskets.
