I've got a feeling that I've got an injector making some excessive noise. I'm not certain what the dealer is going to tell me, but I'm guessing that it's going to cost me. So if I'm going to be spending the money wouldn't I be better off to buy a new set of injectors that will improve performance?

Got any recommendations for me? Also anyone know of a good place to get injectors put in up here in western washington?

Shouldn't that be covered under the warranty?????

 

I suppose it would be if I didn't have the quad race box installed. I don't know for sure if they'll fix it or not. Just preparing myself.

A new set of injectors are around $3000.00 from dealer when you get high hp injectors from lets say diesel dynamics they just put new tips on so your injectors are the one they use. you might have one carbon over. Does your engine idle ok or does it have a lope at idle. There are alot of topics on the forum about injectors do a search.

One thing I did when mine seemed to be carbon over is put my chip setting as high it would go then get on her ( WOT ) and see if you can't get that injector to open up.
It work for me but seems to need to be done every so often. Got keep those injector tips clean!

 

You might want to check out Don M's EDM injectors. I think F1diesel.com is his site. Do a search for injectors and you will find a lot of info on his.
