I'm No Longer Running Blind
I had a rodeo in Stephenville this Friday and when that was over I ran over to Ft Worth to Quad's place. I now have the Commander on my truck. My dad's truck is the only truck we ever had that had a pyrometer and now that I have one that backs the power down by itself, it feels like I have a new truck(since now I have no qualms about running it at 100 on the xzill). Funny that my truck seemed to run 100 +- cooler than my dad's 2000. Pulling Ranger Hill with a L/Q trailer it peaked at 1250* and the Commander was set to defuel at 1350*. The only time it turned the power off itself (that I was driving, Stan tested it after the install) was when I started it this morning and the warm up was set for it to keep the power off untill the engine got to 150*. I will soon form a list of features for the next generation of Commander. This will include such things as trailer brake control, and having it to were you can turn it upside down so you can have the buttons for either side depending on where you mount it, and what hand you use.
