if i leave 2 black marks on the cement does that mean the locker is working correctly?

i think so but just want to confirm.

Yes...means that you have limited slip rear differential and it's working properly...you're good to go

It IS a pretty good indicator your posi is working fine. But not always...It IS possible to over power an open diff and leave 2 black marks. Or, in my case, 4 black marks !

put one in the dirt...one on the pavement...drive 5 mph and go WOT...if the power is split..it works...if the tire in the dirt spins only...NO!
