Lightbulb Idea for Grab Handle and 2 Gauges maybe?

A couple months back, I got some gauge installation instructions from this forum. They recomended cutting the handle off your stock pillar and putting your guage holding pillar over it for a neat installation.

I want to intall two guages (EGT and boost) in the future. I was wondering if it would work to get a two guage pillar mount, cut both ends off, and stick it to the outside of the stock pillar below the grab handle. Besides this looking bad or good, could one do this? Could this be a way of making something like what's pictured in the "side by side guage pod" thread?

Thanks for your comments. If someone has already had this idea, I don't mean to steal it and claim it as my own!

The side by side version is being worked on an I or Scotty will let the masses know the results. A second gen 2 gauge a-piller can be cut and shapped to fit in the spot you have mentioned. Color, texture, and your fitting skills are the biggest concerns.

Yeah, what he said.

I am thinking the SRT-10 pod for my EGT, and the two pod column for my Boost and Fuel pressure.

I've seen this installed, and I like the looks of this the most.

Thats what I did, except, because I have an auto, I went with the Tranny Temp rather than fuel pressure.

If I should ever decide I need a fuel pressure, it will go where the Cig, lighter is.
