That's a really good idea!

Yeah except links aren't allowed on DTR. They are evil.

I thought only EVIL links were not allowed because they are evil. Happy links should not be prejudged prima fascia as evil links, for that would be discrimination and I would have to file a lawsuit on their behalf!

This sounds cool if you have a ton of extra $$$ burning a hole in you pocket. Arnt there other things out there you'd still like to do to your truck or have you run out of ideas and came to the end of the road and decided on night vision. I mena if you 100% satasified with everything you've done on your truck and it has the power and driveability your happy to spend many more years with then yeah go for it, but if you have more things to do on your mind then do it forst. If your still in the persuit of 750hp+ daily driver then you should spend some more time in tuning before you put a bunch more stuff on it and arnt happy with its performance.

I remember hearing of exotic cars doing night vision to do high speed night runs...but that was when I was young and I think it would be safer and easier to buy a radar dector and a long straightaway and do it there....like I do.

Oh and I dont think you should go ahead and start putting links in your posts and sig. I heard that DTR has permanetly banned others for doing that

Goodluck and know when to say when

What's this link talk? I don't follow? As long as you aren't advertising or linking to what is considered inappropriate, I don't think they would hassle you?

The Night Vision is actually not that expensive. At least not as expensive as you would think it would be anyway. No, I am not 100% satisfied with my truck, but I can definitely use what the Night Vision will give me. I will continue to tune, change, and tweak my truck as it goes. It is going to take some time from now on because I am going to need to drive the truck for a while to see what areas need improved upon.

And I agree, a safe link to show all my mods shouldn't be a bad thing.

Agree all you want, I already got warned once for providing a link to somebody about long arms on a 3rd gen, and warned for having a link to my personal website in my signature. I can understand not wanting links to business sites and stuff like that, I guess. But personal sites shouldn't be a problem. DTR's stance on it, apparently, is that they can't control the stuff on the pages that get linked, and somehow that could come back on them.

You CAN, however, put a website link in your profile and then people can click on your username, then "Homepage" or whatever.

Nah my truck is still in Tulsa, I haven't seen it in like two weeks. I just have normal PIAA 520's or whatever series they are. Nothin' fancy here, just functional. I'll just be glad to have fog lights again. The headlights alone are not sufficient.

Wow, that's D.Wiggsian in time between visits (of course mine is always having work done)! I know what you mean about the headlights. I cannot tell you how much of a HUGE difference the xenons have made. I would HIGHLY recommend them. You will never use your high beams again. Then just swap out the bulbs in the PIAA's for some HIDs to match and you will light up the earth. Either that or do Night Vision like me!!

Thank you for saying that and now I can just see them removing that feature for that simple fact.. They were probably alot cooler back when they first enabled that feature.
