HTT Intercooler

Installed a new HTT intercooler at the shop this weekend. Installation time was under 1 hour. Quality and fit was outstanding. Did not need to remove the bumper or discharge the a/c. Had to remove about 1/4" off one bumper bolt to keep it from touching the drivers side tank but that was it. Way better fit than my Spearco, for the money probably the best intercooler available. Tim

I just got mine Friday too. Nice polished finish. One heavy mother though. The tanks must be 1/4" thick.

I found on mine it lowered the cruise EGT's about 125-150 degrees. My max EGT's on the street are 1100ish at WOT while running empty. I did get around to pulling the 32' camper the other day also. I was quite impressed to say the least. With the smarty on level 9 and towing with the 4.3's, the EGT's were very manageable. They never got out of control and I had pleeennnttty of power for the pull.

The one on HTT webpage is not the same intercooler. The new one does not have or need tubing or pipes. It is polished aluminum with tig welded tanks. It looks almost identical to the spearco but fits much better. List is $1300 or so, DTR members get a better price though. PM me for details. Tim

That is not it!!! The one in that link was a Spearco they used to sell. They are cheaper than the $1500 thats listed in that link.

Dag gone Tim, you beat me to it. LOL

Is there room with the HTT to keep the blocking coolers...AC and other mounted below and out of the air path...I hate a nice looking cooler through the grill with two black blemishes on it. KS
