Ok guys think i've decied to go with the 64/13ss from High Tech with the 71 wheel. Talked to HTT today and they said since i hav a manual i could pull off the bigger wheel. They did say that there was about a 300 rpm difference in the 2 wheels meaing where they start lighting good. Anymore info on this turbo would be greatly appreciated. Also would a small shot of NOS help with the spoolup like a 50-75hp shot?

 

You'll spool that turbo no problem But you'll have to up the boost to 48-50psi to keep things cool.

 

I love my 62/71/13ss, dont know about the NOS though.

 

Yes, all NO2 is to a diesel is more oxygen which in turn will build boost w/ hardly any load on the engine, which is great for manuals especially at the track when its harder to build boost off the line compared to an auto.

 

What is the best/ inexpensive kit to go with? Zex or Bully Dog

 

I really think that you will enjoy that turbo. I do not have any complaints over going with the 71 wheel as opposed to the 65. It lights at about 9-10psi, then takes off like a rocket to 48psi.

why not just put a set of sticks in it? that'll increase the ability to spool that turbo. But the beta software youre running will spool it just fine without using drugs to do it... just my 2 cents
