Is the HTT 62/14 a good dailyh driver/towing turbo?
Like it says. Would it give more boost, power, and lower EGT's? Or would it make more lag and mot be fun driving around town? I tow a 10k+ trailer 4-5 times a year.

i just put a 64 14 htt on mine and i love it i was 36660# monday it pulls way better than stock and its fun to drive to

With you having a 6 speed truck, the 14cm will do OK. A 12cm housing would probably be a bit better for towing, but the 14cm is no slouch and would leave room to grow.

It's a great turbo, I would recommend the 71 series though.

My HTB2 62/14 tows great! Look into the 71 series though, they weren't available back when I bought my turbo or that's what I would've got.

Thanx guys. It is good to see feedback from manual tranny guys. I suspect what works good with a stick might be diff. than what works for an auto.
