Sweet Dual Steering Stabilizer Setup

It's pricey, but you can't get anything better. I installed this to help eliminate death wobble. It certainly did and then some. Had the BFG315's which I suspected was the problem. Once I installed this system I could feel it control the tires when they tried to shake.

Then I changed the tires. I'm in heaven.

The system comes with dual Fox 2.0 Steering Stabilizers with custom valving and a major heavy duty skid plate that allows this system to work like no other on the market. The skid plate mounts with a machined surface, directly to the face of the front dif using longer dif bolts.

I did a writeup on the system HERE

thanks for the write up. I may have to look into that setup. Because of the Mag-hytec diff cover on my truck I wasn't able to installed one of my stabilizers , It's angle made it hit the cover. It looks like that setup sets the shocks out a bit farther which may help mine to avoid hitting.

I liked the guard on Carli's site but, don't care for that same guard with " defiant " on it. I wonder if you can just get it in SS like show at Carli's ?

PM sent.

I forgot to mention the Stabilizer shocks have all heim joints and are rebuildable.

The Defiant thing is just a decal. I put it on.

Price is around $600.

If you look at all the components and price them out, the price really isn't bad. Figure $300-$400 for the two Fox stabilizers and a couple hundred for the custom skid plate and the rest of the brackets and hardware.

This kit is top of the line.

I have the same setup and I love it. I've only driven my truck without it on once...and I got the DW twice!

not only, IMO, does it look ridiculously good...I think it's one of the better designed steering stablizers...but as you can tell by my sig I'm a sucker for all of Sage and Paul's stuff...they're really helpful guys.

enjoy it.

you need to remove the shocks to change your diff fluid...they are nitrogen charged...so if your not changing your own diff fluid tell the shop not to release the pressure from the shocks...you should really remove them on your own before you bring it in to get your front diff fluid changed,

also, you need to take them off to do an alignment.

One note to all you guys that have had dw. If you get the castor advanced to about 5 degrees, it will help or eliminate the dw. That being said, that is real nice unit, would look pretty sweet on my black mistress

Kevin I have done it all before doing this. Drove around with wrenches adjusting caster.... which by the way did help some, played with air pressures, balanced the tires.

I found the BFG's required loads of weight to balance. Can you believe the first 35" TOYO put on the balancer needed NO weights? The worst one took 2 oz.

With these heavy tires I want the best in stabilizer system on my truck.

WOW that's a lot of cash for whats there IMHO
do those shocks tell you what the valving is???
it should be engraved on the eye mount somewhere?
I'm thinking I could build this for a lot cheaper...
I am surprised at how many brand new trucks are getting DW
