Htb2 62/14 Htt

I was seriously looking at this. But I have decided to pass (it takes away from my smarty money). It would probably be cool if you needed another turbo.

Think you could make it work with the Pac? I was reading where Dodgezilla (the west coast one) was able to use a bigger turbo, just had to grind a little tab off of the Pac Brake bracket.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will work with a little grinding.

Based on your mods I think you'd be better off with a 62/12. The larger 14 cc housing likes more fuel. Keep in mind all my comments are based on research. I have zero first hand experience with this.

Are you thinking of a turbo upgrade in the future? I think mines holding me back a bit, but I'm not sure I'm ready to drop the dough on it.

Plus, I've been soft peddling it, trying to keep my boost below 10 lbs. (5 on the highway) for fuel purposes.

I am. I really want a 62/12 just don't have the extra dough laying around to buy one. Maybe next year.....

I had a 62-14. Compared to my 66/14 it spooled way quick. 62/14 is laggy until 5psi, where it rips to wherever you have the wastegate set. The 66/14 lags until 11psi, then you're pinned in your seat!

I really liked the 62-14. Worked well with a trailer in tow also.

Pac and Jacobs brakes work fine with aftermarket turbos. I have a Pac and I just ground a little off of the end of the air cylinder mount with the HTB2 62 and then when I upgraded to the HTT 62/71/13 ss I had to modify it a bit more but it works fine. Nothing a grinder with a flapper wheel and one beer can't fix.

Someone school me real quick then I'll leave you alone.

What is the difference between the two? (12 & 14)?
