yes it was a replacement for an 03, it was origionally on my 01 but i called htt and they sent me the stuff to convert it over. you have to change the compressor housing and remove a shim from behind the compressor wheel. the wastegate is also different so you have to change that and set it up, i couldnt be happier though.

Because this has a 65 wheel...I would if you run any fuel...100 hp or so prefer the 14 over the 12. It spools very quick.

Don't let it scare you...it is a perfect turbo for 450 hp. Somebody get it!

Here is a pic I just took.

That turbo would make an excellant top turbo for a twin setup down the road as well.

Depends on if you are just going for a dyno number or if you are going to pull/race with it. If you are just going for a dyno number and then turn it down to daily drive it I would say a HTT 62/71/13ss would be what you could use. It will turn 600 all day long but you won't have very cool EGT's on kill. A dyno run won't hurt anything though.

Staarma.....How's your 62/71/13 for daily driving? What kind of boost numbers do you see cruising around 60-65 mph? I'm getting ready for F1 Flux 1.6 or 2 (not sure), stage 1 cp 3, and possibly this turbo. To many choices when it come to turbos though. I'd like to be a 600 hp daily driver.

Christian,

Are you going to use the turbo? If you decide to shelf it or sell it let me know. Maybe I'll take it off your hands.

I am not sure now...its a little on the small side for what I wanted to do with it...

I will have it in 2 days...so think quick please! Same price...

The truck its going in will have close to 550 hp or so...a 71 wheel might be a better bet.

For you...I think it would be perfect. Let em know.

I see around 0-2 PSI at those speeds. The lag is pretty much the same as stock but I have a few extras that help in that department too. I like it for daily driving and towing.

My truck will never be "quick" because of the NV5600 but once I'm in 6th it's hard to hang with as a few have found out. There's a few things you can add to help air speed out a little like I have and that really makes the lag non existent. So far I'm really happy with this turbo.
