So I have had a smarty jr on my truck for probably the last 3 years and no complaints, very pleased with the performance. I recently rebuilt my transmission with lots of upgrades exception of billet shafts. Just installed a Tater Built 62/65/12 an wow that's what should have came on the truck from the factory, amazing difference! Now that the truck can move more air and I'm confident in the trans I would like to hear what people think of the Hp Tuner programming for my 2004. Any input would be much appreciated!

 

Smarty S06 is still a great tuner and really nothing has improved over it for 2003-04 trucks. UDC option is there as well.

Using much more than what the Jr. provided may require some minor fuel upgrades like a better fuel pump and perhaps a bag o' parts for the injection pump. Nothing too big as the stock injectors and "smallish" turbo will be the limiting factors.

 

Probably should go over to the Cumminsforum for info. Ongoing discussions with the new HP Tuner for the '03-05 trucks.

 

Thanks MikeyB there where a couple good threads over there. I always wish guys could stay on topic though, someone always has to go on a bashing rant. Austin Tate recommend Lavon Miller over at Firepunk that's probably where I'll be going, it seemed as though most guys where pleased with him from past experience.
