How to test Rail Pressure?

I installed the Quad Race with the control pod. The rail reading never gets over 12,000 PSI. I took it to the dealer to replace the front U joints and had them check the rail. They say it is fine.

How do I show them it is not without pulling out the box and possibly voiding the warranty??

thats an easy one. find a mustang dyno, you can hook up to the ob2, and have your railpressure measured. just did it. not for the rail reading though, but it was dead on my gauges.

I have tried several Quad boxes with the same results - nothing. So now that I upgraded the rail pressure seems to be the issue, according to the pod. Quad says that it will appear to run fine at 11K-12k, is this true? The dealer called and said that they are still working on the U joints. I asked about the fuel system and he said the drivablilty test was fine. I asked what the pressure was reading and the tech was not available. Does your fuel pressure the 20K-25K range?

Does Advance or AutoZone have this ability?

Dealer ordered a new fuel rail pressure sensor and pressure limiting valve, they should be in next week.

Glad you got it fixed. I'm assuming its the X2 Race (usb updateable) and if you do keep an eye on the harness. Some people have reported wholes where they connect that let water in and damage the very sensor that went bad on your truck.
