HOW to test Air to Air for leaks?

I may have a possible turbo/air failure on intake. my edge juice attitude gives me 1500 egts easily even on stock setting. I narrowed it down to intake side of things.

My ? is do i put a rubber plug in hose going to intake manifold and plug off hose by turbo and install a pressure gauge and pressure up to 30lbs and spray soapy water? or how does dodge do the elaks on these things? How Do i test wastegate operation?

i know on gas engines you can find vacume leaks with a can of carb cleaner cause the engine will accelerate slightly if it sucks in the carb cleaner. but when it comes to a pressure leake and not a suction leak i think your best bet would be soapy water. block the exhaust off with it idling some how, just like an exhaust brake, that will make it boost a little

If turbo is gone can they just change wastegate or what? I dont have factory warranty any more but I have a LUBRICO 2 year warranty on truck. Will they just change turbo to a new stock one or can they put a aaftermarket one on? which should I do? will the new aftermarket one have a electronic wastegate?
