How to T in fuel pressure gauge?

How to T in fuel pressure gauge?
I was wondering how to T into the fuel system to get a reading? I have a 2005 with the edge with attitude kit. I might in the future put the FASS system in the truck. I thought I remember that you had to do a in and out line? I would like to install a electric gauge not a mechanical. I did a search but what is the correct way not the I am saving money right now way. Thanks

My Autometer Electric Fuel Pressure gauge is T-ed in at about the firewall point. That was the easiest place to run wiring. The gauge was installed with the FASS system by Michael at www.hotroddiesels.com.
