How much for t/c and V/b installed

I was quoted for a dunrite T/c and v/b single $2725 installed. Is this about right and would this be a good setup? I live in Oregon and need a local shop for install.

It also depends on how bad, if any, yours is burnt up. When mine was done it was burnt up pretty bad so i had to have a lot of internal stuff replaced.(clutches, bands, thrust washers, etc.)

If it isnt messed up then that sounds like a decent price but you never know until you get inside of it.

Also, the more billet you can afford the better.

Guys
That's not what he asked. he only asked about a TC/VB install. Dave Goerend isn't close to you but he gets
1295 triple disc
450 vb
400 labor
If I'm not mistaken. That is only $2145. So $2725 sounds way too high - especially for a single disc.

Thanks guys. That bid was from rip at source automotive anyone know another good shop in Oregon. Would it be ok to buy from dave goerend and have someone local do the install? Or am I just going to have headaches trying to have another shop install goerends products?

I know last year he was trying to find a few shops that he felt comfortable doing installs for his stuff. I would call and ask him if he has anyone in your area.

Get the input shaft as well. Dont want to mess up the high dollar convert if it snaps.

He doesn't even have any power mods. So unless he plans to go big on power, he doesn't need to spend an additional $650 plus labor.
That is another benefit of going with Dave as well. His 3 disc with lifetime warranty is unconditional. If the input shaft breaks off in it, he still replaces it for free.

I just sold my flashpaq and am going to purchase a smarty and run it on 3. 5 at the max. Do I need the billet input shaft?

The SMARTY on my truck made less power than the HOT Juice. I am only running a TC/VB. The SMARTY on 5 isn't going to require a billet shaft. But, it's not my truck and I'm not responsible if it breaks.

Dave highly recommends the input shaft. The other two shafts are optional depending on drag racing. This is straight from Dave on the phone.
