how much clearance from hood to ****** whistler?
i noticed today that my ****** whistler must be close to the hood when i shut it. it might even rub or hit the hood resulting in part of the air filter being restricted. i cant seem to lower it any. what about any1 else using it? how much clearance you have? pics would be appreciated.

mine hits the insulation on the hood, havent noticed any problems though

Ya mine hits too. Thats a BIG intake and a big filter. Hard to get it all in there without it touching something. I havn't noticed any problems yet

mine also hits but i`m thinking of cutting the 5.5 inch ss pipe down a little bit...maybe 1-2 inches should work
