How many miles with your smarty

Hey guys im new here and new to diesels. I have been looking into a smarty or smarty jr for my 07 5.9L w/48RE. I was wondering how many miles have you had a smarty in your truck for? Another thing is that does the smarty jr smoke as much as the smarty or no, if i get something i want a little smoke but nothing major. Thanks

23k on my truck and 20k on my smarty....but there's guys with ton more miles....the smarty software is real similiar between the jr. and sr.....it's the additional levels that you should make your decision on...do you need above 100hp or not.....new software on both definatly reduces smoke....but you can still make some off the line or if you lug it.

I've got about 12k miles on the truck with the Smarty loaded up...nothing but good things so far!! I've ran SW#3 probably 90% of the time and really dont need anymore power than what it offers. Gives me great power for improved drive-ability, towing, and putting the guys with their 1/2 ton gas trucks and import toy cars in their place. And finally seen a significant improvement in mileage with the Smarty....

Love my Smarty....

My truck has 82,000 + some change miles on it now. I put on the Smarty about September of 06 at around 50,000 miles. I have run Level 9 since the first of this year. Heavy Towing, some racing, dynoing (all level 9).....stock trans.

I do have a tranny fund though.

I have had a Smarty loaded for close to 30K miles now. Ran almost every version upgrade since they came out. The latest version is by far the best in terms of lower smoke and much lower EGTs.

According to Bob the Smarty Jr contains 3 of the standard Smarty programs and should act the same on a truck.

I have lot of supporting mods for Moderate and Wild TM, but Mild TM at SW 5 seems fairly safe, with good mileage, performance and smooth power. Just my experiences.

75,500 on the truck, 20,000 with the smarty on, nothing but good results.

just got the smarty jr have had on for a thousand miles now. power is great even on the lowest levels. Only smoke comes from wide open throttle and if you lug it. Overall it blows my edge with attitude out of water.

07 ram 2500 48re straight pipe, smarty Jr, airaid qf, auto meter phantom gauges.
