What bulbs are you using now that you have two in each headlamp. I know this thread is dead but I have ordered some on ebay and would like to know.

 

I just ordered a set of these for the truck...lol whoever said these trucks are addictive was soo right.

 

nobody knows what bulbs these units run? I'm hoping that the projector is for the low beams and the inside is for the high beams.

 

yes, that's how they are. I just ordered a set last night. I opted for the non amber reflector.

 

The thread is definately not dead, I was wondering how the wiring went along with the bulb... Since you take 1 plug and make it into 2, it would be great if the kit included a plug type adapter that "T" off the factory plug so no cutting plugs off was required...

OK "new HD guys", install one new light, wait for dark and turn on your lights. This way you can see the difference between the factory one and the new one... Then get a couple of pictures, 1 with both lights on, 1 with the new light covered, 1 with the old light covered, and the same on high beam side...

I want some of these lights so bad, but right now ALL my funds are tied up in getting my house ready for the market (that should change very soon), I would be happy if these lights are "just as good" as the factory lights because they look so cool, but if they are better then that's just icing on the cake...

 

How about the Black ones, which would look better on a MOLTEN RED truck? The chrome or black ones?:

 

Also, will these fit in the wholes in the bumper? and, what if my truck doesnt have fogs AT ALL, what will I need?

So you can have a total of 10 lights with HALO

2 on each healight =4
fog lights in bumber= 2
long range fog lights on light bar=4

I wonder if thats too much tho??

 

I think the chrome ones look kind of RICEY IMO, however, the black-out ones look much better

 

Ordered those black ones yesterday. Hopefully they work out good, I've heard good and bad on here but anything is better than those crummy stock ones.
