How the heck are you fitting 35's?!?!

How the heck are some guys fitting 35's with no lift???? Ive been searching for a long time for what size to get with no lift...My buddy had got 285's on stock rims which i belive is about a 33inch tire????..but sure doesnt look like he has a lot of room to fit anything biggger, and he has a spacer front lift!!!!!
285's=33's?
315=35's?
295=?
305=?

I also run the 285's and I measured mine before installing them and I came up with closer to 32". The tire shop told me they cannot tell much difference in the 285, 295, and 305.

As far as fitting the 35's I have seen that most people on here running them are running the stock wheel. I wasnt so sure that with the tires stuffed in the fenders while four wheeling that I wouldnt have some good rubbing. But it may be alright if your gonna stay on the street. I have heard that at full lock some guys still rub a little. If your tire guy is good he might be able to set you up with a backspacing that will work for you but you might end up with a litte bit of that "beaner" look.

I have BFG AT 315's on stock wheels, and it only rubs slightly at full lock. Other than that, no problems with mine.

My 35's were rubbing on the control arms at full lock. Added some 2' Daystars and Rancho shocks and problem solved.

35" Nitto's on KORE Weld's. They rub on the control arms if the steering wheel is cranked over more than 1.25 rev's in either direction.

I just put on Pro Comp XTerrains 35x12.50x17's today on a stock truck with stock wheels. There is no rubbing but I am waiting for my RevTek leveling kit to come in to finish off the stance.
