how do you like your fuel boss

lookin into getting the GDP fuel boss LP for my 05 cummins just wanted to know what you guys out there think about it and if you found it any cheaper than like 650 at all??

if your gonna get one I say get the MITUSA pump set-up.....Opie makes the same set-up(he was the first to make it at that) and he has a set-up that mounts up on top of the engine instead of down under on the damper....the thing I don't like about the damper mounted version is you cant run a fluid damper with it...for me I think a fluid damper is a must.

I love mine. Yes it mounts below but it is out of the way so if (when) I get my second pump I have a place to put it. Idle at about 14-16 psi and Im running about 46 and cruising speed. CP-3 supplied now.

I belive Opie makes a kit for a dual CP3's too...so if and when you did you could just buy the new brackets

What I wonder about these mechanical pumps is that at higher RPM's the pumps put out up to 90psi....most of the CP3's and duals do not like to operate with high input pressure I thought...what pressure regulation do they have....just thinging out loud. I think the fluidampr is a necessity...the new truck I just got is so rough on turn off compared to the one in the dually with the FD. Kerry
