Question how to...

Up my boost on my silver bullet. Im looking to up my boost for this weekends diesel shoot out. Does anyone know how much to shorten the wastegate arm to raise it 7 psi?

Did you spin the allen screw in all the way? The Silver Bullet best boost is around 50-55psi anything more is out of it's efficancy range. There are guys making over 700hp with only 50psi of boost.

where is the Allen screw, when I got it I just put it in and Im only getting 38 psi

You should be able 2 see 45-50 no prob.The screw is on the compressor on a little brass elbow. it is a black screw turn it in to get more boost. Mine came set at like 48-50ish but i've seen spikes of 54 or so

38psi sounds about right for a larger turbo with stock injectors. I don't think you'll see much more than that with your current fueling mods, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Time for that fuel system!!! Boost up to 50psi and you might drain the rail pretty bad, even with your cp3 mod

I dont think in going to up boost that high, anymore than 45 PSI and im in need of head studs right?

Oh BTW, where on the compressor is the little black screw. i see the brass elbow for the wastegate but no screw

You can make your own by taking that elbow, drill and tap for set screw. I don't remember the size, but I did my own.

I just took a look at the boost elbow...but everywhere i look its says not for an 04.5. Does this mean stock turbo? Will it work with the silver bullet or am i SOL for this elbow cuz im 04.5?

On the elbow there is a black allen screw. That is it! I can hit 50psi no prob with my fueling
