hoop/stirrup/Carr steps

I do not want a running board or Nerf bars. I really like the Carr 20" for the front and 10" for the rears. Anyone have these?

I have the 10" front and back. I love them. The power steps are nice, but.....I just can't digest the cost. I don't like the running board either, too bulky for my taste. After I installed my hoops, I took the die grinder with pad and buffing compound, to them. An hour later, all 4 shined like chrome! I threw on a coat of good wax and they are holding up great.

ten8fiftyone - is 10" large enough for the front?. Where did you get yours? I here Summit has the 20" for $100.00/pr. This is way cheaper than other quotes I have gotten. I like the idea of larger in the front and a little smaller in the rear. Do they hold wieght well? A local truck store says they don't install them because they are weak?

I was concerned about the 10 inch as well. But both my wife and I have found that they are plenty of step. I weigh 178 lbs and I have had no problem with them holding my weight. My neighbor is about 230 lbs and he stood on them with no problem. I mounted the steps so that the center of the step is in direct line with the front edge of the seat, front and back. I got the steps on e-bay, I think from A-Z Trucks.com. They were $50 a pair. Cost me $100 for front and back. Easy to install as well.
