Holy Steering Linkage, THURENfab!!!!!!! pic
Man oh man, Don,
When you said EXTRA Heavy Duty, you meant it. This thing is BEEFY. The pair of stab clamps should be perfect for my dual steering stabilizers too. Thanks a bunch. I can't wait to install everything!
Now if I ever get my Lazarsmith SSSSS from Mike, (hint, hint) my steering should be sweet!! Hmm, I feel like I'm hissing at some one with all those s's. Maybe you could call it an S-5 for short?
I'll take pics and do a write up once I get everything installed.

No kiddin. I've always known that when Don makes something, its gonna be Heavy Duty. But when he said for a 8"+ lift, he'd like to build me an "EXTRA" Heavy Duty setup, I couldn't wait to see it. I'm just amazed and excited. Can't wait to get it on!

I don't even know if he's offering this kit on his website yet. You kinda have to ask for it. I think he told me it would be on there eventually, but I'm not sure.

it is some sweet linkage, especially when going from the stock crap. There's NO play at all. You will notice the feel of the steering wheel being a little different while driving too.
On mine anyway, I feel the tires tracking the road now as oppose to the stock linkage having all the play in it. I drove through some of the worst interstate roads I've ever seen in Louisana last weekend and at an average of 75 to 80mph on 37's, I'm REAL glad I have Don's set up along with a DSS.
We all know death wobble can be pretty bad and with the stock setup, I would surely have crashed... even if I was doing 40 the whole way. If you've been through there you'll know what i mean !
For the question about how long the heim joints will last... I don't know but, I'd bet they will out last the stock ball joints

Your goodies already shipped out, Keegan - though I did have to hold up yours and TiminVa's orders for a day while we machined more zero offset trackbar bushings (we were cleaned out after the TX Diesel Nationals)
