Question Holley Regulator

Is anyone using a Holley Regulator? I'm installing a Walbro pump and one of those Holley Regulators on my truck, but I don't know what the small clear line is for. It connects to the bottom of the regulator, but where does the other end connect? The other 3 fittings on the regulator are 3/8",two out and one in. I think I got those right. The in comes from my walbros out and the out goes to the plate where my old lift pump was and the other out goes back to an adapter that I put on the fuel filler neck. Does this sound right? Also are the two outs on the regulator the same?

Fuel in from the walbro, and fuel out to filters or to the cp3 and usually a fuel return back to the tank for the excess fuel you have regulated whether this is the clear line your talking about or the other out fitting.

Nope, there are three 3/8 inch lines that I know what to do with. The 4th line is a small diameter clear line that attaches to the regulator. this is the fourth line.

I don't know, I didn't get any instructions with it. I'm starting to think that it connects to a fuel pressure guage. The fuel return back to the tank is a larger 3/8" line. The one in question is a white plastic line and it is 1/4". I got this walbro kit from Wicked Diesel. Did anyone out there install this kit that comes with the Holley Regulator?

Okay, I found out from psi components that it is the Ultimate Walbro Kit and uses a stripped down Holley regulator which has been modified with a bypass and the small fitting and line is for an optional fuel pressure guage. It also is boost referenced and will boost pressure up as needed. Sounds pretty cool, but I need to try to reach them tomorrow for detailed installation instructions.

Correction:there is a small fitting for an optional fuel pressure guage, but the line in question goes to a boost bolt to reference boost. When the boost gets higher, it allows more fuel pressure through the regulator via a diaphram. Thought I better clear that up. Also, Richard at GDP answered all my questions about the kit and basically told me how to install it and helped me out with getting some parts that I was missing from my kit even though I didn't buy the kit from him. Now that's customer service. Next time, I 'll know where to buy!

I have purchased the same kit from Wicked Diesel, but haven't installed it yet (waiting for Shane to email me some instructions). What parts did Richard say were missing from the kit?

From your research, is there a way to "limit" the boost referencing? According to my Commander, I sometimes see up to 46 psi of boost, and am a bit concerned about blowing the fuel filter lid off the canister if I start with 10 psi at idle and add 46 more from boost referencing.

Thanks.
