Fill out your signature so we know what year truck you have and what you have on it...

You can use the Holley blue just like a BD pusher pump without taking out your in-tank lift pump. It should work fine unless you go to extreme fuel demanding mods. Not sure exactly how to do it, but I would guess that you could follow the BD instructions and be good to go.

Stock what????

You've got to understand that these trucks change from year to year. Pre-03 have a different setup, 03-04.5 have different pumps and location than 05' and up.
All would require different things to achieve the same results.

Looks like you'll be dropping the tank. I run the Walbro on an 03 and it has performed flawlessly. Easy install, but I imagine the Holly would be much the same.

Well considering the Holley Blue and the Walbro are pretty much the same price, I can't imagine going with the Holley. I've had my fair share of Holley Blues and Reds on cars in the past. Wouldn't put one on my truck. Reason is simple.

Holley is running 100% duty cycle at 14-15psi and is meant for carburetors.

Walbro is running at 20% duty cycle at 15psi and is made for higher performance fuel injected applications.

Which one do you think will live longer....

I have killed so many Holley Blues I refuse to use them, Walbro is on the truck, Aeromotive A1000 is on the race car.

Anything man made will have it's faults. Holley blue "style" pumps are 50's technology. Nothing wrong with old school stuff. Just that in this situation, the alternative is so much better. JMHO.
