I honestly thought i would be knocking on the door of 500 pretty hard, but i know that number isnt right cause that is less hp than i dynoed with just the ez. and if anyone was wondering this was the same dyno as i dynoed on before. just curous how do my torque numbers look to you guys? Oh and the ez was on the lowest setting when i got the best numbers that i posted. With the ez up all the way i didnt even break 300 hp what in the world do you guys think might be going on

Im not convinced mustangs are legit for diesels...we dyno'd my buddy's 2005 crew cab short bed duramax on a mustang yesterday and it made "330hp and 706 torque"

This is a 7250lb crew cab that runs 13.3. Does 330hp sound right? mmmm not quite.

But pretty much, I could care less about dyno numbers anyway. They can be so massively varied from day to day, dyno to dyno, etc...one truck that makes 800hp on one dyno one day might only make 600hp on another dyno/another day". Id much rather see something go fast on the track or sled pull.....thats a much more accurate display of what the truck puts out for power in the real world.

Smokin-U....why do you post a what do you think thread? and then ignore everything that everybody says....Your tranny is slipping...do you have a lock-up switch to force lock up and do you have a tranny temp gauge....what shape is your tranny fluid in? IF it was a mustang you should dyno in 1:1 although od will give you better results by multiplying the numbers upward. Get a VB and a TC as a minimum...and you may be able to lay it down....sure some lucky guys are getting good numbers on here with a stock tranny but if you don't thrash your tranny by driving like it was stolen all the time then 4 seconds of dyno time will probably make some numbers. I get a kick out of all you guys buying 3 cheap boxes, thrashing your trucks and wondering why things break, melt or don't lay down the power.....you have no real foundation for making power...If you don't have the necessary supporting mods and information stream (gauges) you are running full tilt to the cliffs edge. In closing basically you don't deserve to make big power because you haven't paid your dues to the modding gods. KS

I concur. You need a tranny and lift pump or don't bother getting on the rollers. i have never dyno'ed my truck and don't plan on it until I get the right supporting mods. I run my power adders on VERY mild settings and drive conservatively knowing full well that I can't supply enough fuel or air to make big power yet nor can i put even a fraction of it to the wheels. Get the right goods and you'll get the good numbers.
