Higher EGTs and lower fuel econ with Smarty vs Triple Dog?

I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it. I run about 100 degrees hotter with the smarty and noticed a significant drop in MPGs with my smarty vs my triple dog. Im comparing Performance on the BDDL and #5 on the Smarty. I am very easy on the go pedal and driving habits have not changed.....Jason

06, Try level 7 for best milage and keep your foot out of it . #7 has always been the best for milage on my truck w/ every Smarty program I've used.

Download one of the latest programs....I noticed the first 06 version and the just released (Dec 31st, Data: X.05X) versions are much better than the version in between (this one had a timming change to work with both aftermarket and stock injectors....and in my opinion it negatively affected mileage and egt's for trucks with stock injectors).....the new version is very good...

my truck does not have the best mpg numbers now. But I really dont pay attention to it. I figured the smarty would help not hurt mpg.

They Say That Sw #3 Is The Best For Mpg, But So Far None Of The Sw's Are Any Better Than My Timing Box Alone.i Also Heard Some Say That Triple Dog Is Good For Mpg , But I Didn't See Any Change Over Stock.

do what?

Crazy Larry adding pressing is a debate....general consensus is that it does not raise pressure...although Bullydog says it does

i saw 22mpg out of mine, but I figured since it was adding more fuel it was tricking the numbers on the tripmeter screen
